Easy access, helpful videos

Subscribed for a month. Found some good Meditation Practices. Access was immediate. Watched on my laptop. No problems with playback. Happy with the content available.

Smooth sign-up, good content

I signed up for the 7-day free trial on Gaia last week to check out their Yoga Classes and the Mindfulness Workshops. The signup process was really straightforward on their website, no hidden steps or anything. I used it on my smart TV app and also on my iPad; both worked well, no buffering issues, which was nice. I watched a few Vinyasa Flow sessions and an intro to Breathwork. The instructors were clear, and the video quality was consistently good. I did have a quick question about offline viewing, so I sent a message to support. They got back to me in about 4 hours, which was pretty decent, explaining how it works on the app. Overall, a positive experience, I'll likely keep the monthly subscription.

Good content, app needs work

I got the monthly subscription to watch the Ancient Civilizations Series and some of the Spiritual Documentaries. The content itself is really interesting and there's a lot to choose from. I've been enjoying the Esoteric Wisdom Series. My main gripe is with the mobile app. Sometimes it crashes when I'm trying to cast to my TV, and the search function isn't always as responsive as I'd like. Delivery of the service, meaning the streaming, is usually fine, but that app experience could definitely be smoother. Value for money is good though, given the unique library.

Consistent and reliable service

I've been a Gaia subscriber off and on for about two years now. This time around, I signed up for the annual plan to save a bit, mostly for the Kundalini Yoga and the Health and Wellness Docuseries. Their service has always been consistent for me. The streaming quality is reliable, and I haven't had any problems accessing content on different devices, which is a big plus since I switch between my laptop and Roku. The content library continues to grow, and they add new Gaia Originals regularly, which keeps it fresh. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting; it's a solid, dependable platform for this kind of content.

Is Gaia legit? Saw some ads for it and the content looks interesting but I'm always a bit skeptical of these niche streaming services.

D Dana Romero 1 month ago
Yeah, it's totally legit. Been a member for over a year. They have a ton of yoga and meditation stuff, plus some really out-there documentaries too.

For sure. It's a real company, not some fly-by-night thing. They have a good reputation in the spiritual/wellness community. Not for everyone, but it's real content.

How does Gaia compare to something like YogaAnytime or Glo? Is the yoga content similar or is it more diverse with other topics?

L Laura Silva 2 months ago
Gaia has yoga for sure, but it's much broader. You get all the meditation and spiritual documentaries, ancient civ stuff, conscious films. YogaAnytime is much more focused just on yoga classes.

Glo and YogaAnytime are pretty much just for yoga. Gaia is like yoga + all the other 'alternative consciousness' stuff. If you're only in it for the yoga, those might be better, but Gaia has a lot more variety if you're open to other topics.

Can you actually download videos for offline viewing on Gaia? My internet can be spotty sometimes and I travel a lot.

J Josh Vargas 1 month ago
Yep, you can! I use it all the time on flights. Just download the episodes you want beforehand within the app.

Confirmed, offline viewing is a feature. Super handy for when you don't have good wifi.

Hey guys, thinking about signing up for Gaia. What's the best way to get a discount? Are there always promo codes floating around?

O Omar 2 months ago
They pretty much always have that 7-day free trial for new people, which is cool to check it out. For actual discounts, the annual plan saves you a decent chunk compared to paying monthly, like 30% off.

Promo codes are pretty rare in my experience. I think they mostly do the free trial thing and the annual discount. Sometimes a special one pops up for partners though, but not super often.

What's the deal with the different pricing? Is it always a monthly subscription or can you pay annually for a better rate?

F Faith M. 2 months ago
You can definitely pay annually and it's cheaper per month that way. Like, a good amount cheaper, maybe 30% savings compared to paying month-to-month.

Always go for the annual if you know you'll stick with it. It's their main way to get people to commit longer term, so they give a decent discount for it.
